Sightglass Coffee

Sightglass coffee San Francisco

Sightglass Coffee has an amazing flagship in San Francisco; spacious, modern and a architectural gem. Their huge roaster is located inside their shop and the bags of green coffee are waiting in front of the machine to be roasted. Downstairs is the place to order your coffee and buy memorabilia and beans. Go upstairs and you will find an area where your single origin espresso is prepared and workshops are given. The first floor is also the spot to take in the view from above. I recommend the Affogato! Mind you: in the summer this place tends to get really hot inside.

Mazarine coffee San Francisco
Located on Market Street this is a coffee shop that should be in the top of your list. Mazarine isn’t just the pace to grab something to eat, it is the place to discover great coffees as well. The interior is spacious but often crowded with people working on their laptop. The staff is friendly and know everything about their coffee. Order a Hario V60 brew…or better yet: try their Nitro coffee! It is amazing.

Equator Coffees and Teas
Equator coffee and teas San Francisco
Equator Coffees and Teas is located on the other side of Market Street and should be the place you visit after Mazarine. Their interior is small but the murals are great. The Baristas love chatting about coffee and you will find their knowledge of coffee transferred to your brew. Having a Geisha on the menu does say something about the place.
I recommend trying their special offer, in this case the Geisha, and grab something to eat as well!
